Top Tools for a Low-Code No-Code Blogger

First off, thank you for visiting my site. I very much hope that this site has provided you with some form of value as it pertains to learning more about low-code no-code platforms and technologies. As a relatively new blogger, I have been testing and trying various tools and products to help me on my journey to make the complex low-code no-code space simple for all. Some of these tools proved to be useful and others not so much. In an effort to share my experience, I have compiled a list of the tools and products that I have found to be extremely useful as a blogger and small business owner.

Disclosure: Kindly note that many links on this page are affiliate links, and at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you decide to purchase or sign up to use one of the tools or products. Note that all of the tools and products included in this list were included because I have used it myself and found it to be incredibly useful.

Freelancer Services

As I began working on building my site, I quickly realized that I could not do everything myself. As much as I enjoy learning new skills, if I was going to get my site off the ground then I was definitely going to need to outsource some work. Being a new blogger, I wasn't sure where I could go to hire freelancers to provide me with assistance with both basic and specialty tasks. After doing some research, I discovered the vast marketplace that is Fiverr! My first experience with Fiverr was for logo design. After reviewing a few freelancer offerings, I quickly selected a freelancer, negotiated the pricing and offer and within 2 days I had a high quality logo that I loved. I have since hired freelancers to provide me with assistance on web development, SEO, email marketing and more. If you are looking to hire a freelancer, I highly recommend that you give Fiverr a try.

Virtual Private Network

Like many other bloggers, I often find myself working in different locations sometimes with no access to my own secure internet connection forcing me to use public Wifi. To help decrease the risk that my personal data is compromised when on public Wifi networks, I decided to purchase a subscription to a VPN. After doing some research, I decided to try NordVPN as I found it to be as feature-rich as other VPNs but significantly more affordable. One of the key selling points for me, was that I can connect up to six devices at the same time. This is useful when I'm using public Wifi as it lets me connect the multiple devices that I often carry with me. If you are in the market for a VPN, I highly recommend NordVPN

Content Creation, Email & Marketing

While I use many different tools for content creation, I am a heavy user of Microsoft Office products and I continue to be impressed with the value that Microsoft offers with the Microsoft 365 family subscription. Not only does it give you access to your favorite Office apps but it also provides you with 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage per person for up to six people. Some of my favorite features in this subscription include access to premium creative content including stock photos, icons and more and the built in artificial intelligence tools that can take plain content and automatically enhance it to make it flashy. If you are in the market for content editing tools then be sure to check out a subscription to Microsoft 365

One of the most important elements of any small business is an email address with a custom domain. Unfortunately, many customers look at businesses using generic email domains (i.e. @gmail.com or @live.com etc.) as unauthentic & sometimes illegitimate. While there are many providers that sell custom domains, Zoho is the only company that offers customers a custom domain for free. That's right, if you own the domain for a website, you can get an email address that matches the name of your website absolutely free. For details on how to do this, check out this article. Zoho also offers a ton of other products including sales & marketing tools, eCommerce tools & much more. What's even better is that you can earn $100 in Zoho wallet credits which can be used to purchase any new Zoho app simply by using this link & creating an account.

The key to successful content is that it is of high quality. If you are interested in creating written content whether it be a blog post, articles, or tutorials, you should definitely make your life easier by leveraging automated tools to help with the proofreading process. For that, I use Grammarly. Grammarly is hands down the best writing assistant on the market. Simply create a new entry, start writing, and let Grammarly do the rest. It provides real-time suggestions for improvements, assessments of your content as it pertains to correctness, clarity, engagement, delivery, and an overall score. My favorite feature of Grammarly is that it can be accessed through add-ons to your favorite apps such as Gmail and even browsers such as Chrome or Edge. If you have not tried Grammarly, just do it. You will not regret it.
